During his outstanding career, Gianni Bonadonna trained generations of oncologists in Italy and abroad. Inspired from his attitude of mentorship, Fondazione Gianni Bonadonna pursues the education of young doctors willing to get involved in therapeutic innovation in oncology, in order to create a network of excellence and new opportunities for the patients’ benefit.

This goal will be pursued through the endorsement of “fellowships” on topics such as clinical and translational research and therapeutic innovation, to be conducted in a network of international laboratories and centres of research, to train a new generation of physician-scientists in oncology and for oncology.

Fondazione Gianni Bonadonna – with Prada Group as supporting partner – and Fondazione AIRC announce the call for applications for the international fellowships in honour of Gianni Bonadonna, , whose deadline expired on 7 June 2021.

The examining commission, made up of renowned international reviewers, is already evaluating the applications. The results will be announced by October 31, 2021.

The fellowships, intended to support a period of study abroad, are reserved for physicians enrolled in the last two years of graduate programs specializing in medical oncology or hematology, and for doctors certified in oncology or hematology within two years of their board-certification.
