Following the path of the great man and doctor who inspired its launch, the Gianni Bonadonna Foundation continues its research and scientific dissemination

September was a time of great scientific ferment, with many news coming from the ESMO 2021 Congress: a lot of relevant studies, which may change clinical practice in the near future or lay the foundation for new strategies in cancer therapy, were presented during the congress and they also had a huge resonance in the Gianni Bonadonna Foundation’s news section, since science dissemination is something that follows the path of the great man and doctor after which the Foundation is named.

Gianni Bonadonna always promoted training and education, because only with the maximum dissemination of scientific knowledge among doctors and researchers there will be a future for innovation in oncology and for patients health, which is strictly correlated to that innovation. Beyond his clinical and scientific results, Gianni Bonadonna has always supported the importance of maximum cooperation between specialists and innovative research through new drugs, new therapeutic protocols, new multimodal approaches: precisely the themes that the Gianni Bonadonna Foundation underlined in reporting the latest news from scientific research, to encourage the exchange of knowledge which can then lead to new developments and new ideas. In Gianni Bonadonna’s idea and in the Foundation’s objectives, training and information are never separated from the promotion of new prospective clinical studies or retrospective translational studies, which can be achieved thanks to the coordination of the many different skills required.
